DL-Panthenol Core Functions
Deep Hydration and Moisture Locking: DL-Panthenol, upon contact with the skin, is hydrolyzed by esterases into pantothenic acid (the active form of Vitamin B5), penetrating deep into the stratum corneum to promote lipid synthesis, increase skin hydration, and form a breathable moisturizing film on the skin surface, reducing moisture loss and improving dryness and peeling.
Anti-inflammatory, Soothing, and Barrier Repair: Inhibits the release of pro-inflammatory factors (such as IL-1 and IL-6), relieving redness and stinging caused by dryness and external stimuli; accelerates stratum corneum cell repair, suitable for sensitive skin, post-cosmetic procedure repair, and post-sun exposure repair.
Hair Smoothing and Split End Control: As a hair care ingredient, it can penetrate into the hair core to replenish moisture, forming a protective film on the hair surface, reducing static electricity, and improving dry, frizzy, and split ends. It is commonly used in conditioners, hair masks, and hair oils.
